"The Magic of Stereoscopic (3-D) Viewing"

On exhibit in the Westerville Library throughout January, 2010.

Charles R. Schaefer, a local producer of Photo Artworks depicting "Ohio's Natural Treasures" has recently been advancing the art of Stereoscopic Viewing. He is presenting his collection of stereo images, captured with a matched pair of professional DSLR cameras, in a format that delivers the full quality and depth of each scene, with no need for glasses or other devices.

To share the benefits of the "Parallel" viewing method with the community, Charlie has assembled an educational exhibit in the Westerville Public Library.  You can visit the display this month in Meeting Room A whenever meetings are not scheduled. To see the schedule at www.westervillelibrary.org click on 'meeting rooms' and select Meeting Room A.

Most people with normal vision can learn to see the full depth of parallel images with a little practice. This exhibit presents the knowledge, methods and tools needed to adapt ones depth perception to the unaided direct viewing of stereoscopic images.

Schaefer will present additional photos, videos, demonstrations and free samples of "Stereo Artworks for Parallel Viewing" all day on Saturday January 16th and January 30th.
