WVCB Wraps Up Another Great 4th Friday Season

4th Friday Celebrations in Westerville  have been a mainstay for family fun and community spirit for a decade. The 2009 season was no exception.

Thousands of people from all over Central Ohio and their out-of-town guests, visited Uptown Westerville during each 4th Friday event, held from 6-9pm on the fourth Friday of the month, April through September. Not only did they enjoy the quaint shops, galleries and restaurants in our historic district, they were able to spend quality time with friends and family browsing the wares of over 100 street vendors.

Many groups and organizations assist the Westerville Visitors & Convention Bureau in its effort to bring 4th Fridays to the Central Ohio Community. WVCB staff would like to thank The City of Westerville, Westerville Uptown Merchants Association, The Arts Council of Westerville, Westerville Sertoma, Westerville Public Library and Westerville Parks and Recreation for their continued assistance and support.

The 2009 season was made possible, in part, by contributions from AAA-Ohio Auto Club, Emerald Bank and WTDA 103.9 Talk FM

We also appreciate assistance from Westerville Church of the Messiah United Methodist, Otterbein College, Westerville City Schools, and the Westerville Puppet Posse.

Many thanks go to the Westerville Divisions of Police and Fire for both their community outreach and event safety assistance. We are also grateful for the help we receive from the Westerville Electric Division and the Service Department for their assistance behind the scenes.

Thanks to all who attended one of these events and, if you didn't make it in '09, see you next year!
